What makes Eagle Tax Service®
different from the other “big
name” preparation businesses? |
| |
While the “big name” tax
preparation franchises have almost
sold out all of their prime market
territories, Eagle Tax has
NATIONWIDE territory available in
all of the major markets to
accommodate this growing business
segment. Also, you do not need to
be a tax expert to operate an
Eagle Tax center. Our
comprehensive tax preparation
training program provides you with
in-depth industry knowledge and
know-how. In addition, our ongoing
operational support reinforces our
commitment to provide a system
that will allow you to be in
business for yourself, but not by
yourself. |

|
 |
What kind of background do I need
to be successful in this
franchise? |
| |
The ideal Eagle Tax franchise
candidate understands the value of
operating a business within a
franchise system. He or she
recognizes the need for local
marketing and business development
and enjoys getting out into the
community and promoting the
business. Basic computer skills
are certainly helpful; however the
software we utilize is very user
friendly. An ideal candidate has
good communication skills and
enjoys working with people while
providing a high level of customer
service. This business can be
successful whether the owner is
actively participating in the
operation of the center or has a
more passive ownership style and
uses key employees to manage the
center. |
| |
|
 |
What
kind of training and support will I
receive? |
| |
|
| |
Initial training is an intensive,
two-week seminar held at our National
Training Center in Philadelphia, PA.
This training covers all aspects of
products and services offered,
operational training for the day-to-day
business management, technical training
on the computer system and software as
well as local marketing techniques and
use of existing marketing plans. The
support staff provides around the clock
support for any questions your staff may
have throughout the work day. |

 |
Who
identifies the location of my center? |
| |
|
| |
The franchisee is ultimately responsible
for the selection of the real estate in
which the Eagle Tax Service center will
be located. Our professional real estate
department assists in identifying
profile demographics and works with a
national network of commercial brokers
who know what type of facilities we are
seeking in markets across the country.
This department can also be very helpful
in consulting on the lease negotiations
with landlords. All sites must be
approved by the Corporate Office before
they can become an Eagle Tax Service
center. |
